Over-Complicated Diets
The diet industry
is booming and as with any market experiencing rapid
growth, a whole host of new products are appearing on a
daily basis – each claiming superiority over the others,
due to an ‘all new miracle system' or some other dubious
boast. But which system is the best?
That question though,
is relative. Maybe it would be more prevalent, to ask; which
one is the best of a bad bunch?
For certain, it is a
confusing choice, what with low-carb, low-fat, detox and
protein-based – to name but a few. Choosing a diet that is
right for you is no simple feat these
days.
You would think that
dieting should boil down to common sense. Eat smaller portions
of healthier food. Apparently not, or so the self-proclaimed
nutritional experts would have you
believe.
If it were that easy,
anyone wishing to engage in a spot of weight-loss could do so
without a fuss. There would be no need for expensive classes,
products or ingredients and that would spell disaster for the
hungry marketer (pardon the pun), looking to make a fast
buck.
The whole dieting industry has been
intentionally complicated by money orientated marketers and
charlatans, preying on personal desperation. Dieting should
indeed by a simple matter and not an expensive,
over-complicated affair.
There is absolutely no reason to
pay a small fortune for a system that is over-priced and awash
with techno-babble that’s based on flawed science. No matter
what those fancy nutritionists would lead you
believe.
Listen to them at your
peril. Dieting is not complicated, quite the opposite in
fact.
Unless you have a
serious medical condition, or are unfortunate enough to have
inherited a genetic disorder that affects your weight and diet,
you do not need an over-priced, diet programme that is shrouded
in fake testimonies and pseudo-nutritionist
babble.
At the very least, try
what I am about to tell you. There is no harm, you will not be
wasting a lot of time and effort and it could well end up
saving you a fortune.
Preferably you should
incorporate all of these suggestions into your diet, however,
any one of them alone, could help you to lose
weight.
-
Eat smaller portions; do not
starve yourself, just have a little bit
less
-
Use wholesome, fresh ingredients
where possible, not processed low-fat
alternatives
-
Smaller meals, more often
throughout the day
-
Do not skip breakfast, it
kick-starts your
metabolism
-
Try to use wholewheat products
where possible
-
Experiment with your own diet
recipes; do not force yourself to eat something you
do not enjoy.
Most important of all,
try to have fun. You stand a far greater chance of succeeding
if you enjoy your diet!
